Meet Our Family
Kristi
Owner and Lead PhotographerHey there! I’m Kristi. I am the owner and lead photographer at krisann photography, as well as wife to Jason and mom to 3 amazing humans.
My interest in photography began when our boys were small. I was constantly snapping photos of their sweet little faces, unable to get enough. As they grew, my love for photography did too. However, I was unsatisfied with my “skill” so I quit my job as a music teacher and went back to school to study photography. The rest is history.
My little hobby has grown from a small gig to a flourishing business which now includes my husband as my second shooter, and our son as our videographer and additional second shooter.
It may sound cliché, but I truly love my job! I love meeting and connecting with new clients, and working with my family is a huge blessing that I do not take for granted!
Jason
Second Shooter and AssistantMy husband Jason joined me as my assistant at a friend’s wedding many years ago. What started out as a one time thing turned into a full time gig and the beginning of our family business.
In assisting me, he too fell in love with photography and now second shoots with me for all of our weddings and events. When he’s not shooting, he accompanies on my shoots and acts as my assistant.
He is my right-hand-guy and I wouldn’t change it for anything!
Austin
Videographer and AssistantAustin joined our team as our intern second shooter and assistant while he was still in high school. After graduating film school he joined us full time.
He is immensely talented, and is the best addition to our little team! We couldn’t ask for more! He has worked alongside us during countless weddings, private events and family sessions, bringing with him, insight, vision, skill and the best sense of humor.
He is a true asset to our team and we are so thankful for him!
Fun FAQs About Us
Jason and I eloped when we got married. We have no photos of our wedding day adventures. The irony is not lost on us that we now capture weddings for a living.
We LOVE the show Friends!! We have seen each episode a million times and quote it daily. (It’s actually my go-to show to binge watch while I edit!)
We are Disney fanatics! We have had passes for most of our lives together and have made many wonderful memories with our boys there. Jason and I even had our first date at the resort.
We love coffee!! Seriously. COFFEE.IS.LIFE.
We are a family of musicians. I, (Kristi) play piano, sing and currently serve on the worship team at our church, and each of our 3 sons play guitar. Jason is THE BEST roadie!
