Golden Leaves & Growing Years | A Fall Family Session at Yorba Regional Park
There’s something about fall light at Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim Hills that feels soft, golden, and full of nostalgia.
This fall family session was everything I love about autumn in Southern California. Warm sunshine filtering through tall trees, leaves scattered along the paths, and that cozy, relaxed energy that comes when the weather finally cools down just a bit.
Yorba Regional Park is one of my favorite locations for Orange County family photo sessions. The tree-lined walkways, open grassy spaces, and peaceful lake views create the perfect backdrop for natural, timeless portraits. It’s beautiful without feeling busy, which makes it ideal for capturing real connection.
We spent the evening wandering the park, exploring, laughing, and just be ourselves. Some of my favorite moments weren’t posed at all.
Fall family sessions always carry a little extra meaning. The year is winding down. The holidays are around the corner. Kids are growing faster than we realize.
From golden hour portraits under the trees to candid moments along the pathways, this family session felt warm, joyful, and beautifully unhurried.
If you’re looking for a Yorba Regional Park family photographer or planning fall family photos in Orange County, this location never disappoints.
